Obviously to this point pickup changes were confined to what would fit in a humbucker rout, whereas the owner really felt that Strat pickups were the guitars true calling, which is exactly what we thought. So we decided to replace the humbucker routs, with single-coil routs! First the pickup routs where expanded to
