Gibson Les Paul Tribute ‘Historic makeover’
Full ’59 spec makeover on this 2017 Les Paul Tribute model. Absolutely loved every step of this transformation. This guitar is an awesome example of trying my best to execute a client’s vision on exactly what he wanted out of this makeover.
Everything from the subtle opaqueness of the sunburst finish, to the relic that you can really only see from close up or in the right light, even a custom wiring configuration – all spec’d by the owner!
One of the nicest features of the makeover is the stunning Brazilian Rosewood board (salvaged from a 200 year old cabinet!). Rang like a cathedral bell!
